The history of Mr Green
The online gaming company, Mr Green, was founded by three Swedish entrepreneurs in 2007. Two of the founders had vast experience from the gaming industry, having co-founded the Swedish company, Betsson, which is also a big gaming site. The third founder had experience from the PR and marketing industry.
They saw that there was room in the market for an online casino, which focused on customers’ experiences. Their idea was to create an online casino which could offer the same atmosphere as one of the physical casinos of Monte Carlo. They planned to do that by creating a completely new graphic design in which they could offer a brand new type of atmosphere. The plan was to create a brand unique in the world of gaming.
While developing this they also made sure to have a great variety of games, something that was really sought after by the players. The company was also among the first to offer more flexible solutions for deposits. This meant that the players no longer had to change chips when they moved to a game from a different game developer.
